AGES/ ELIGIBILITY

 Open to two-man teams of male amateur golfers ages 55 or older as of November 18 and who have a maximum handicap differential of six strokes.

ENTRY FEE

$460 (per team)

FIELD SIZE

The 48 teams with the lowest combined USGA Handicap Indexes compete in the Championship.

FORMAT

36 holes of flighted, four-ball stroke play. 

PRACTICE ROUND

One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Georgia Southern University Golf Course to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation on November 5. Practice round cart and range fee is included in the entry fee.

YARDAGES & TEES

Yardages will be posted online and at the host club.  Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. each day of competition.

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on November 9.  

REGISTRATION

No formal registration will be held on site. Player/team withdraws must be called or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted.

CARTS

Practice carts and range fees are $30 plus tax. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee.

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available at 8:00 am on tournament days.  Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

REFUND POLICY

For the remainder of 2020, a player may request a FULL refund for a withdrawal up through their starting time on the first day of competitions for ANY reason.  After the player’s starting time has passed on the first day of competition, refunds will not be granted.
