Championship Details
Date: June 30 – July 2, 2020
Location: Gold Mountain Golf Club (Cascade Course) | Bremerton, Wash.
Lodging: WA Golf has negotiated discounted hotel rates for tournament players and guests. To book a hotel reservation, please use the following link - HOTEL RESERVATIONS. Entry Fee: $200
Entry Includes: One hosted practice round, three rounds of competition, tee gifts, range balls, lunch following second-round play, crystal awards for top finishers and a merchandise payout.
Entry Deadline: June 22, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers who: (1) meet the below age requirements, (2) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club not exceeding 16.4 for Amateurs and 40.4 for Mid-Amateurs, and (3) are members in good standing of a WA Golf member club.
Age: No age requirements for Women's Amateur. Players in the Mid-Amateur must have reached their twenty-fifth birthday by June 30, 2020.
Field Limit: Field will be limited to the first 48 qualified Amateurs and the first 24 qualified Mid-Amateurs. Entries will be accepted according to the time of receipt of entry and entry fee in addition to exempt players.
This Championship runs concurrently with the Senior and Super Senior Women's Amateur, which has a field limit of 48. WA Golf reserves the right to modify either field limit to achieve a full field of 120 players.
Schedule: 54-hole stroke play (Amateur Championship is gross only; Mid-Amateur Championship is gross and net). In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.
Practice Round: All players will be allowed one complimentary practice round prior to the championship.
Caddies: A player may provide her own caddie. Host club caddies will not be available.
Carts: Players and caddies in the Mid-Amateur Championship only, may ride in a golf cart. Cart fees are $17 per seat/day. Fees will be collected during registration.
Exempt Players (Amateur): All past Washington Women's Amateur Champions in addition to addition to the following players: Anne Bahr, Emily Baumgart, Olivia Benzin, Julia Bordeaux, Alexa Clark, Gretchen Klein, Lily McCauley, Karen Miyamoto, Giheo Seo, Suzie Tran, Therese Warner.
Exempt Players (Mid-Amateur): All past Washington Women's Mid-Amateur Champions in addition to the following players: Victoria Fallgren, Paige Hagen, Gretchen Klein, Karen Madison, Alison Murdoch, Tina Papatolis, Tomoko Ratzlaff, Hong Shearer.

WA Golf Performance Points (Amateur): Awarded to Amateur Champion (100), Runner-up (75), Top-5 (50), Top-10 (25), Top-15 (15), and Top-20 (5) finishers
WA Golf Performance Points (Mid-Amateur): Awarded to Champion (50), Runner-up (25), and Top-5 (5) finishers
