Tuesday, September 8th -- First round (18 holes) - 7:30 am to 9:40 am - #1 & #10 tees
Tuesday, September 8th -- Second round (18 holes) - 1:45 pm to 3:30 pm - #1 & #10 tees
Wednesday, September 9th -- Third round (18 holes) - 7:30 am to 9:40 am - #1 & #10 tees

Eligibility

Mid-Amateur Team -- Male amateurs age 25 or older as of September 8, 2020. 
Senior Team -- Male amateurs age 50 or older as of September 8, 2020.
Super Senior Team - Male amateurs age 60 or older as of September 8, 2020.

Entry Fee and Deadline

$360.  Deadline for entry is Tuesday, September 1st at 11:59 pm or when the field fills.

Field Size

56 teams total.  Half of the field will be reserved for Mid-Am Team teams, but will be filled with Senior and Super Senior division teams if the Mid-Am Team division does not fill.

Format

54 holes of team stroke play contested over two days.  36 holes on day one, 18 holes on day two.  Different format each round.  There is no cut.

Round One - Shamble
Round Two - Foursomes
Round Three - Four-Ball

Divisions & Course Set-Up

Three divisions (Mid-Am Team, Senior Team, Super Senior Team).  Gross scoring only for Mid-Am Team division.  Gross & net scoring for Senior Team and Super Senior Team divisions.  


The golf course will be set-up at approximately:

  • 7,000 yards (Mid-Am Team)
  • 6,400 yards (Senior Team)
  • 6,100 yards (Super Senior Team)


Food & Beverage at Host Club

A boxed lunch will be provided as part of your entry fee during day one between rounds one and two on day one of the championship. 

Food service will be available on Tuesday at the expense of the player/team.


Practice Round

No official practice round is offered.  Please contact the host course to arrange a practice round time.  Cost of practice round is set by the host club. 

Clubhouse and Practice Facilities

Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time.  Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.

Defending Champions

In 2019 at Crestview Country Club, Tyler Chapman & Corey Novascone outlasted the field in a sudden death playoff after the final round was cancelled due to weather. 

In the Senior Team competition, the team of Brad Ansley & Keith King claimed their first championship title.

In the Super Senior division, Peter Robbins & John Bailey were victorious.

Carts, Spectators and Caddies

Carts are included for all rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee.  Caddies are NOT allowed due to COVID-19.  Spectators carts will NOT be available.

Registration

There will be no registration at this event.  You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time.  This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.

The host club accepts the following forms of payment:  Credit Card or Cash.


When Competition is Final

The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
