Eligibility
Male amateurs age 25 or older as of October 19, 2020.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$165 (carts included). Deadline for entry is Monday, October 12th at 11:59 pm.
Format
36 holes of individual stroke play. Overall Champion to be determined. The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round. Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.
Optional Skins Game
We will be running a daily optional skins game (gross only by age division) for players that wish to participate. The cost is $20 per player which gets the player into the game for both days of the championship. If you wish to participate, please bring cash to the first day of the championship and give it to the starter before you begin your first round of play.
Divisions
Two age divisions:
- 25 to 49 (gross scoring only)
- 50 & Older (gross & net scoring)
Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at approximately:
- 6,800 to 6,900 yards (all participants)
- Anticipated Hole By Hole Yardages
- 1 - 390, 2 - 190, 3 - 420, 4 - 562, 5 - 410, 6 - 544, 7 - 364, 8 - 170, 9 - 410
- 10 - 501, 11 - 430, 12 - 560, 13 - 390, 14 - 160, 15 - 363, 16 - 420, 17 - 210, 18 - 410
Practice Round
Practice round are available for $50 (cart included). Please call the golf shop to schedule a practice round time. Available times are at the discretion of the host club.
Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.
Defending Champion
Overland Park's Park Ulrich won another Kansas Mid-Amateur Championship in 2019 at Topeka Country Club.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are included for both rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee. Only two carts are allowed per starting time. Spectator carts will NOT be available. Caddies are NOT allowed in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event. You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.
Score Posting
Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System.

Method of Payments
The host club accepts TBA for all purchases.
When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
