The Bear Creek Men's Golf Club (BCMGC) typically plays each and every Saturday.  We have a shotgun start with tee slots starting at 1, 18, 17,16, 15 and so forth depending on the number of players in the event.  Invites are sent out a week beforehand and if you wish to play you must respond by Thursday @8:00 a.m. for that specific Saturday.

 

Tee times can vary based on the calendar.  In the summer we tee off earlier than the winter.  Players should check-in with the volunteers in the morning no later than 45 minutes prior to the tee off time.  Please visit the cashier in the club house and pay your green fee after checking in.

 

There are two types of individual stroke play games:

 

  1. Flights
    • Gross (based on actual score) - $10
    • Net (based on handicap adjusted score) - $10
  2. Skins
    • Gross (based on actual score) - $5
    • Net (based on handicap adjusted score) - $5

 

All members must play in at least one flight game.

 

The skin games are optional.

 

All members that play in any net games must have a valid handicap.

 

Note that men's club game fees are in addition to the course green fee, and must be paid in cash during player check-in.

 

Due to the administrative tasks we ask that you choose the games you want to be in ahead of time and the selection is in play for a calendar quarter.

 

Payout

 

Flights:

Out of each $10 received, $1 goes to a fund skill hole contests throughout the year, and year-end gifts and party.  The remaining $9 goes toward gross flight and net flight payout respectively.

 

Flight payout and the number of places paid out is based on the number of players in the flight.  Some examples are: if there were 4 players, then we would pay 100% out to first place only; if there are 32 players and no ties, we would pay out to 4 places (first place is 50%, second place is 25%, third place is 14%, and fourth place is 11%).

Flight payout is paid in Bear Creek Golf Complex gift cards, which can be redeemed for green fee, golf shop merchandise, range balls, golf instruction, or food & drink.

 

Skins:

The entire $5 fee is applied to the gross skins and net skins payout respectively.  Skins payout is paid in cash.
