Championship Details

Entry Fee: $135

 

Entry Includes: One hosted practice round, two rounds of competition, tee gifts, range balls, lunch following final round play, crystal awards for top finishers and a merchandise payout.

 

Entry Deadline: September 14, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who: (1) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club, and (2) meet at least one of the following requirements.

 

Men’s and Senior Men’s Eligibility Requirements

• Club Champion of a WA Golf Member Club (2018 or 2019)

• Past Champion of the Men's Champion of Champions (2015-2019)

• Past Champion of Senior Men's Champion of Champions (2015-2019)

• Champion of a WA Golf Championship; excluding Parent-Child and Mixed Chapman Championships (2019)

• Champion of any event on the WA Golf Men's Performance Points List (2019)

• Champion of any event on the WA Golf Senior Men's Performance Points List (2019)

• Top-10 on the WA Golf Men's Performance Points List (2019)

• Top-10 on the WA Golf Men's Mid-Amateur Performance Points List (2019)

• Top-5 on the WA Golf Senior Men's Performance Points List (2019)

• Top-5 on the WJGA Boys' Performance Points List (2019)

• WJGA State Junior Boys Champion (2019)

 

Age: No age requirements for Men's Championship. Players in the Senior Men's Championship must have reached their fifty-fifth birthday by October 1, 2020.

Age: No age requirements for Women's Championship. Players in the Senior Women's Championship must have reached their fiftieth birthday by October 1, 2020.

 

Field Limit: Field will be limited to the first 105 qualified entrants (30 Men, 39 Senior Men, 9 Women, 27 Senior Women). Entries will be accepted according to the time of receipt of entry and entry fee in addition to exempt players. Due to reduced daylight in October, the field limit was reduced from 156 players to 105 after the postponement. The field is currently full and on a waiting list in all divisions.

 

Schedule: 36-hole stroke play (gross only). In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.

 

Practice Round: All players will be allowed one complimentary practice round prior to the championship.

 

Caddies: A player may provide his/her own caddie. Host club caddies will not be available.

 

Carts: Players and caddies may ride in a golf cart. Cart fees are $18 per seat/day. Fees will be collected during registration.

WA Golf Performance Points

Men's – Awarded to Champion (50), Runner-up (25), Top-5 (10), and Top-10 (5) finishers

Women's – Awarded to Champion (25), Runner-up (10), and Top-5 (5) finishers
**Points may be adjusted based on field size

Senior Men's – Awarded to Champion (30), Runner-up (15), and Top-5 (5) finishers

Senior Women's – Awarded to Champion (15), Runner-up (10), and Top-5 (5) finishers

Champions earn an exemption into the 2021 Washington Champion of Champions at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash.
