Schedule of Events:
Tuesday, August 11 – 18 Holes Stroke Play
Wednesday, August 12 – 18 Holes Stroke Play
*Round 2 Tee Times will be based on Round 1 scores*
In the event of a tie, the winner shall be determined by Sudden-Death playoff immediately following completion of regulation play.
Format: Play will be 36 Holes of Stroke Play over two days. There will not be a cut.
Eligibility: Field will be limited to 144 players.
Professionals: RI PGA members, New England PGA members and apprentices, and RI Residents will pay an entry fee of $325.00.
Unaffiliated & Non-RI Resident Professionals: Will be eligible and pay an entry fee of $425.00.
Amateurs: RIGA members with a handicap index of 3.0 or less and must have 2019 or 2020 Player of the Year points. Preference will be give to professionals. All amateurs will be put on a waiting list and will be notified of their status after the entry deadline. The amateur entry fee is $155.00.
Purse: Will be made available after the close of entries.
Skins Pool: Optional $20.00/day skins pool
Tees: All contestants will play from the Championship Tees which will be set at appoximately 6,600 yards.
Practice Rounds-
Cart and Range fees: were included in the entry fee.
Entries - Form, Fee, Closing Date: Entrants are solely responsible for securing and returning completed entry form by the due date. Entries must be received at the RIGA office by July 29, 2020 and be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee.
You may enter online using a credit card at www.rigalinks.org up until the entry deadline. The entry fee does include cart fees and range balls for all days.
If a player wishes to enter a tournament after the entry deadline, and if there is an available spot for that player, there will be an additional charge of $25.00. Faxed entries will not be accepted.
Conditions/Schedules: The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final.
