80th Mixed Foursomes Championship
Crestwood CC - July 20-21, 2020
 

Eligibility:  Amateur golfers who have an active RIGA/GHIN handicap and are RIGA Members.
Team must consist of one male and one female.
 
Tournament Format:
July 20-21 - Crestwood CC

Monday, July 20 - Shotgun 8 a.m. - Qualifying Round - 18 Holes Foursomes Stroke Play - Lunch then first match - Divisions of 8
Tuesday, July 21 - Morning tee times - 2nd match - Divisions of 8 - Winner of morning match will play for Championship in afternoon

Foursomes stroke and match play is alternate shot.  The partners must play alternately from the teeing grounds and alternate during the play of each hole.

Championship Division is Gross all others Net.

In the event of a tie for the eighth or final seed of match play, there will be a sudden death playoff immediately following the completion of the Qualifying Round.

During Qualifying Round - Men play from White Tees and Women play from Red.
During Matches - Championship Flight - Men play from the Blue Tees.

 

There will be an 18-hole stroke play consolation round on July 21, 2020 for teams that do not qualify for match play.
 
There is no handicap maximum, however 36.0 is the highest index a player can use.  

Handicaps used will be July 17, 2020.

Lunch included after 8:00 Shotgun on Day One.
 
Entries - Form, Fee, Closing Date:  Entrants are solely responsible for securing and returning completed entry form by the due date.  Entries must be received at the RIGA office by July 12, 2020 and be accompanied by the entry fee of $280.00 per team.
 
You may enter online using a credit card at www.rigalinks.org up until the entry deadline.  
 
Cart and Caddie policy: Carts are required and fees are included in the entry fee.
 
Dress Code: Proper dress is required at all times.    
Spikeless shoes are mandatory.
 

Conditions/Schedules:  The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein.  The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final.

 

Important: Entries must be received by July 12, 2020. Completed entry form must be accompanied by entry fee of $280.00 (Made payable to RIGA). If you withdraw from an event after the registration deadline has closed, there will be no refunds given. You may find a substitution and work out payment between each other.  No Faxed Entries.
