2020 Kansas Amateur Qualifier - Mariah Hills GC

Qualifying Format & Ties
This qualifying site has 31 players entered currently. Qualifying spots taken from this qualifier and the other three qualifying sites will be announced on or before June 21.
18 holes of stroke play. Playoffs WILL NOT be conducted at the first four qualifiers (Manhattan CC, Mariah Hills GC, Sand Creek Station GC and Falcon Lakes GC) in 2020 due to COVID-19 Event Policies. All ties for the final spots at the cut number will advance to the championship. Players are only allowed to attempt to qualify at one qualifying site prior to the 2nd Chance Qualifier.
Golf Carts at Qualifying Sites
Golf carts are allowed at the four qualifying sites and are at the expense of the player. Cost for a golf cart is determined by the host course. Players are encouraged to walk at the qualifying sites for social distancing purposes. Single rider golf carts are NOT guaranteed for any player at qualifying sites.
Practice Round
Please contact the professional staff at the host course regarding practice round availability. Availability and cost are at the discretion of the host course. A practice round is not guaranteed.
Entry Fee Format
A two-tier entry fee format is used for the Kansas Amateur each year. Players not exempt from qualifying pay a $100 entry fee to attempt to qualify for the championship through one of the four qualifying sites. Players that successfully advance out of those qualifiers must then pay the remainder of the championship entry fee which is $160.
All players that advance to the championship proper at Colbert Hills Golf Course in July will pay $260 total entry fee.
Total Field
TBA qualifying players currently entered prior to the second chance qualifier. There will be TBA qualifying spots available in the first four qualifying sites to advance to the Championship to be held July 20-26 at Colbert Hills Golf Course (Manhattan, KS). Players who qualify for the championship must notify Central Links Golf if they do not plan to compete in the championship. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future events.
2nd Chance Qualifier
The 2nd Chance Qualifier is available for those players that failed to advance out of one of the four original qualifying sites or missed the posted June 15th entry deadline. Entries for the 2nd Chance Qualifier will open on June 29th and close on July 3rd at 4:00 pm. The number of qualifying positions available at the 2nd Chance Qualifier will be determined after the first four qualifying sites are completed. Four (4) alternate positions will also be determined from the 2nd Chance Qualifier. Entry fee for the 2nd Chance Qualifier is $100.
