79th Four-Ball Championship

Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 at Chartiers Country Club, Pittsburgh, PA

The competition is 18 holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. The ball scored must be individually identifiable by the player who scored his ball for each hole when signing and returning your scorecard. The field consists of 42 teams. All teams will play from the Blue WPGA Tee Markers.

 

Practice: Practice rounds can be scheduled by contacting the golf shop at 412-921-5360. Tee Times are available at the discretion of the pro shop. The PGA Professional is Joe Klinchock. Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player. Practice rounds will be $75.

 

Tee Markers: Play will be from the BLUE WPGA tee markers (Approximately 6,550 Yards). Yardages will be contingent on course conditions.

 

Transportation/Caddies: Automotive transportation is permitted for the competition and included in the entry fee. Caddies are not permitted for the Championship.

 

Food: The WPGA provides water on course, coffee & juices prior to the competition and lunch will be provided between rounds. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

 

Footwear: METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.

 

Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and ten minutes (4:10). The Pace of Play Policy can be found HERE.

 

Scoring: Scoring will be done through the USGA Tournament Management APP. All players should download the APP in advance of the competition. 

 

Spectator Info: No spectators are permitted. Directions to the club can be found on the Chartiers Country Club website.
