NOTICE TO COMPETITORS
TEES TO PLAY
Boys 13-15 & 16-18 divisions play the TYGA Blue tees.
OUT OF BOUNDS
The inside edge of the public roads to the lef of #2 defines Out of Bounds. A ball coming to rest left of the indide edge and beyond is out of bounds, even if ball comes to rest on another part of the golf courses.
OBSTRUCTIONS
Wood fences adjacent to cart paths, cement curbs adjacent to cart paths, mulch & grass areas encircled by the cart path are deemed part of the cart path. Railroad ties adjacent to sides of cart paths are deemed to be part of such paths. Additional Obstructions include: Concrete fixtures containing drains, Gravel roads and paths, Concrete yardage markers, and Sprinkler heads and recessed areas around heads
Relief is available from the stakes and support lines/ropes of staked trees but not from the tree .
Birdhouses & support posts and exposed bunker liners are immovable obstructions.
WRONG PUTTING GREEN
All nursery and practice putting greens are wrong putting greens. Free relief is mandatory.
MULCHED AREAD AND FLOWER BEDS
Mulched areas and flower beds are through the green except when serving as a cart path or walkway (play as obstruction).
TIES/PLAYOFFS
A tie for the boys overall and first in any division will be broken by an on course playoff beginning on a hole to be determined. All other ties for trophies will be broke n by the USGA system of matching cards.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In case of inclement weather, please evacuate the golf course and return to your cars. Currenyt guidelines forbid the use of the on-course shelters. In case of inclement weather an airhorn will blast three times. Please mark your ball and return to your car immediately. Plenty of time will be given for all players to make it to their cars if a storm is approaching.
