In order to offer as many competitions from the planned schedule as possible until the COVID-19 situation has completely eased, the following philosophy will be employed at each AGA-sponsored event:

  • The AGA will be bound by the Host Facility’s mandates for social distancing.
  • One week in advance of each event, any diversions from normal competition rules will be posted to the website.
  • Any players who wish to withdraw at that time will receive a full refund.

AGA Policies in Effect
All AGA policies listed at azgolf.org will be in effect. By submitting an entry for this event the player agrees to abide by all policies.

  • Caddies
Caddies are not permitted during the first two rounds of stroke play or the first round of match play on Wednesday.  Caddies, however, they are permitted starting with Thursday's match play competition.  Any individual who assists a player in accordance with the Rules or rides in the golf cart is considered to be the player’s caddie. A caddie is expected to comply with the standards set forth in the AGA apparel policy, except that caddies are permitted to wear appropriate non-collared shirts. Caddies not meeting the minimum apparel standards may be asked to change into appropriate attire or lose the privilege to caddie.

  • Carts
We will follow the cart policy in place at each individual facility. Carts are provided for player use or players may walk. Minimum of two carts per group.

  • Spectators

Spectators are only allowed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and are limited to two people per match.  Spectator carts are not allowed - all spectators will need to walk.

  • Dress Code
The AGA complies with the apparel policy at each host site. Shoes/clothes should be changed prior to arrival.  Golf-style shirts and either slacks or Bermuda-length shorts are acceptable for players and caddies. Tennis attire, t-shirts and slacks/shorts of denim material are not acceptable. The apparel policy is in effect at all times during the tournament. Players not complying with the dress code may be asked to change into appropriate attire or may be withdrawn from the event.

  • Official Withdraws
In order to officially withdraw from an AGA event, a player MUST contact the AGA at (602) 944-3035 and leave a voice message at extension 210 regardless of the time of day OR, if still on-site, personally notify the AGA staff-in-charge (listed on the Notice to Players).

  • Official Time
