2020 KY Open – Player’s Guidelines

PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR QUALIFYING GUIDELINES

  • The 2020 KY Open and all qualifying rounds are being conducted under the current Golf House Kentucky Tournament Operations Covid-19 Protocols. These protocols are to be strictly adhered to until further notice of changes.
  • The Terms of the Conditions for each qualifying round includes several modifications due to these guidelines and all local rules will be posted in accordance with these same guidelines.
  • Modifications are as follows:
    • NO CADDIES ALLOWED
    • NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED
    • Practice areas are restricted to players only and should be used no earlier than 45 minutes prior to your tee time. Anticipate your arrival to the golf venue accordingly.
    • Groups of either two or three players will comprise a pairing group and all tee times are set at intervals of 12 minutes.
    • Motorized carts are restricted to 1 player (driver) per cart. If a cart is utilized to carry two bags, the second player must walk the entire round.
    • Flagsticks are not to be removed at any time. Players are encouraged to use minimal touching and caution when removing their ball from the hole. If there is a need to adjust the flagstick to an upright position, use a club or towel.
    • Bunker rakes have been removed from the bunkers and a local rule is in place that allows a player to lift, clean and place their ball within one club-length of the original position (no penalty).
  • These guidelines are not all the protocols in place, but you will experience other guidelines such as staff and other personnel using masks, gloves, sanitizers and other methods to provide responsible measures for your protection.

  • PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO ALL ONSITE FEES INCLUDING CART RENTAL ($30 per round), FOOD & BEVERAGE PURCHASES.

  • PLAYERS MUST WEAR SLACKS AT THE CHAMPIONSHIP SITE FOR PRACTICE AND COMPETITION ROUNDS. THIS INCLUDES PROFESSIONALS AND AMATEURS.

  • THE ONE BALL RULE IS NOT IN EFFECT AND DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES ARE ALLOWED.
