2020 Boulder City Amateur Championship - Flatirons Golf Course

Host Course: Flatrions Golf Course

Registration Deadline: Sunday, October 4th or earlier if field reaches capacity.

Dates: Saturday, October 10 - Sunday, October 11

Format: 36 holes of stroke play at gross scoring only.

Open Division: Any may play in the "Open Divison". Seniors may choose to play in the "Open Division", but cannot play in both divisions.

Senior Division: Players who are age 50 and older.

Tee Times:  Each day will start off hole #1 only at 9:00 a.m. in groups of four (4). Starting times will be posted on Wednesday, October 7th.

Yardages: The "Open Division" will play from the Black tee markers. The "Senior Division" will play from the Blue tee markers.

Entry Fee: $135.00 and includes greens fees, range balls, tee gifts, breakfast burrito each day and prizes for top finishers.

Field Size: Maximum of 80 players.

Driving Range: Players may not begin practicing until one hour before their posted starting time. The driving range is included in the tournament entry fee.

Golf Carts: Players may choose to rent a cart the day of the event for $25.00 inside the pro shop. Carts are either multi-ride or single rider at the player's option. Players may also choose to walk, bring a push cart or bring a caddie.

Caddies: Players may bring their own caddie as long as the caddie also adheres to social distancing procedures.

Flagsticks: Flagsticks may not be removed.

Holing Out: Foam will be placed in the holes to prevent the ball from falling all the way to the bottom. A ball is treated as “holed” when a ball is at rest in the hole after a stroke and any part of the ball is below the surface of the putting green. If a ball in motion bounces off a foam noodle or flagstick and does not come to rest in the hole as defined above, the ball is still in play and not considered holed yet. Nothing in this procedure overrides the Rules of Golf for the special case of a ball resting against the flagstick in the hole (Ball is treated as holed if any part of the ball is below the surface of the putting green, see Rule 13.2c).

Bunkers: Rakes will not be on the golf course. When a ball is in a bunker, the player may lift, clean the ball and place the ball within one club length of where the ball originally came to rest. The ball must be placed in the bunker. A player must not prepare/smooth an area of sand where the ball is to be placed when taking relief under this Rule.

Practice Round Information: Available at the posted rate. Please note that the course will be closed to all play and practice the day before the event (October 9)
