This information is regarding the rescheduled qualifying for the Oregon Mid-Amateur,

Enclosed you will find your pairing and starting time for the 18-hole competition on Tuesday, September 22nd at the OGA Golf Course. There are thirty-five (35) spots into the 32nd Oregon Mid-Amateur Championship at the OGA Golf Course. This year, a hole by hole playoff will NOT be used. Instead, in the event of a tie the USGA recommended method of matching scorecards will be used to decide ties for the last spot and determine alternate positions.

COVID-19 Guidelines and Liability Waiver: Players should review the Guidelines. All players and spectators must sign the following liability waiver before they will be allowed to participate. It is recommended that the waiver be signed before coming on site. Please forward the following link to those you designate as your spectator so they can fill out the waiver.

Caddies and Spectators: Caddies will not be allowed during qualifying. Players are allowed one spectator to accompany them before during and after the round.

 

Arrival and Check In: Players and attendees may not arrive at tournament site earlier than 35 minutes prior to the contestant’s starting time. Players are asked to report to their starting tee 5 minutes before their designated starting time. No starters boxes with supplies available; players are required to bring their own pencils, tees, ball markers, divot tools, etc.

 

Tournament Information and Results: Will all be provided digitally on the OGA’s website or through the USGA Tournament Management App, GGID: ORMIDAMQ. No onsite scoreboard will be available.

 

Practice:  The OGA will host warm up range balls for contestants. Limited time on driving range and practice putting green prior to round will be permitted.

 

Practice Round: Players may call the pro shop, (503) 981-4653, to make arrangements to play the golf course prior to the qualifier. All Contestants are responsible for any greens fee for playing a practice round.

 

Qualifying: Players who make it through the 18-hole qualifying will automatically be added to the Championship field. The credit card used to register will be charged the additional $100.

 

Food and Beverage and Water: The OGA Golf Course will be open for food and beverages. Players and spectators should bring their own water as limited supplies for refills will be provided to players only.

 

Automotive Transportation: Only single rider carts will be available. Cart reservations reserved when registered have been submitted to course to ensure they have been reserved; all other carts will be rented on first come first serve basis.

 

Dress Code: Proper attire must be worn at all times.  Proper attire does not include spandex body wear, cutoffs, running shorts, short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts, or denim of any kind.  Neat and clean pants, slacks, cords, or appropriately hemmed, tailored shorts are acceptable, as are sweaters and golf shirts with a collar.  Shoes must be worn at all times.
