Player Registration Fee: $495.00 per player

The Championship Open will be conducted in the same manner as all of the other association-wide events in 2021. There will be no social gatherings.
* Due to the challenges COVID-19 has presented, modifications may be made to each event for the health and safety of our participants.
Registration Process:
32 exempt players will be guaranteed a place in the field if they choose to register.
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners (Gross and Net) in each flight from the 2019 Championship Finals.
- 2017, 2018 and 2019 Overall Championship winners.
1. Registration will be conducted following this new process.
a. Phase 1. Registration will be open for 7 days. If an event has more players registered than we can accommodate, we will conduct a lottery to see who gets in.
b. Phase 2. Registration will re-open for events that are not at full capacity. This second phase of registration will be First Come-First Serve. If an event reaches maximum capacity before the registration deadline, registration for that event will be turned off.
2. Individual registration.
a. Every player must register themselves. There will NOT be an opportunity to register other players.
b. All players will go into a "Pending Registration" status. Credit card authorizations will be approved but cards will not be charged until a player goes into the Confirmed Roster.
3. Players moving to the Confirmed Roster.
a. Once you are registered, you will be manually moved to a "Waitlist".
b. After conducting any necessary lotteries, players will be moved into the Confirmed Roster and credit cards will be charged.
c. In Phase 2, when a player registers, it will be on a First Come-First Serve basis until the field is full or the final registration deadline has been reached.
Guest of Competitors:
The Championship Open will be conducted in the same manner as all of the other association-wide events in 2021. There will be no social gatherings.

*There is a $5 storage fee per golf bag per night that guests can pay at the golf shop
Practice Rounds Information
Palm Course
- Tournament Practice Rounds can be booked into pre-determined tee time reservation slots on Thursday November 4th, 2021 at a rate of $69+tax per player. AM & PM Tee Time blocks are both available. Call (407) 939-4653 to reserve your tee times.
Refund/Cancelation Policy
Once you've been charged and moved to the confirmed roster, refunds can be requested for cancelations made prior to the final registration deadline (September 30, 2021 at 11:59 pm EST). A 4% fee will be retained by the Association to cover credit card processing fees. Cancelations made after the final registration deadline will not be refunded.
*In the event of rescheduling or cancelation due to COVID-19 complications, this refund policy may be modified. To request a refund, please email golfevents@lpgaamateurs.com.

Flights:
Championship Flight (11.9 and under handicap index) - Blue Tees
Yardage Range: 5100-5400 yards
First and Second Flights (12.0 to 16.9 / 17.0 to 20.9 handicap index) - White Tees
Yardage Range: 4800-5100 yards
Third and Fourth Flights (21.0 to 25.9 / 26.0 to 40.0 handicap index) - Yellow Tees
Yardage Range: 4600-4800 yards
Tournament Format:
- This will be 36 hole individual stroke play event.
- Tees will be assigned based on flights. Flights will be determined after the handicap revision date.
- Each day will be 9 minute interval tee times, with two waves.
- First Wave - 7:30 - 9:00 am
- Second Wave - 11:45 am - 1:15 pm
Awards:
- Prizes will be awarded for both Gross and Net scores in each flight.
- The overall winner will be the Low Gross winner from the Championship flight.
