The Rhodes Cup

Named after Mark Rhodes, the original Head Golf Professional of Harbour Pointe Golf Club and founder of the Harbour Pointe Men’s Club, this annual two day event rewards the top 24 HPMC members who have accumulated the most participation points throughout the season. Points are solely based on participation! (See Points System below)

The top two Rhodes Cup Point earners act as Team Captains and draft the other 22 golfers onto two teams. The teams then compete in a weekend tournament modeled after the Ryder Cup. The prize for the winning team is a year of bragging rights (and maybe a small pot game) – no Golf Shop credit or tournament subsidy.

But here’s the really great part: To show its appreciation for your support of Harbour Pointe Golf Club and HPMC, management comps the golf both days!

So come out and play!

Participation Points System:

  • 25 participation points for every HPMC Wednesday played
  • 50 points for Weekend Events, Amy Fuller Classic, Wednesday Finale & Holiday Events
  • 100 points for the Member/Guest, Spring and Summer Field Days
  • 150 points for the Players Championship, Member-Member & Club Championship/President’s Cup & Holiday Classic

You do not have to be high on the Money List to earn your way

into the Rhodes Cup! It’s all about your participation in HPMC events!
