2021 SCAGA Spring Stroke Play

Registration & Eligibility
Open to all SCAGA members in good standing. All players must have an active handicap at a Sun Country Amateur Golf Association club. Registration opens January 1st, 2021. Entries close March 22nd at 9 am.
Format of Play
36 Holes of Stroke Play Competition, Gross or Net depending on division.
Entry Fee
$160 Per Player
*Late entries after March 22nd are subject to additional $10 fee.

*Men’s Championship (Gross)
*Men’s Net (With Handicap)
*Men’s Senior Championship (50 & Older, Gross)
*Men’s Senior Net (50 & Older, With Handicap)
*Women’s Championship (Net & Gross Flights will be based on number of entries)

Handicaps (Net Flights)
*Each player will receive 100% of their individual handicap index as of Marc 22nd. Scores posted after this date will not count towards a players handicap index for the tournament. If an exceptional tournament round were to occur, the competitor may have their handicap reduced by the Tournament Committee for any of the competitive rounds, per USGA Handicapping Guidelines.
*Net flights will be divided in to smaller groups based on Handicap Index.
*There will be a maximum handicap allowance of 40.0 Players higher than 40.0, can still compete, but will be reduced to the limit.
*All Net flights will play using Model Local Rule E-5 (Local Rule regarding Stroke and Distance Alternative to Ball Lost/Out of Bounds) in effect.
Food
Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of each round.
Prizes
SCAGA will have prizes for winners, up to 33% of each flight. The prizes will include gift certificates to the Host Facility’s Golf Shop, where the player finished the 2nd round.
Practice Rounds
Sonoma Ranch GC: March 25th-26th, after 10:30am at rate of $40 (includes cart).
Picacho Hills CC: October 25th-26th, after 10:30am at rate of $40 (includes cart).
Withdrawal Policy
SCAGA will accepts withdrawals up until the deadline for the Championship closes (Monday before Championship) with a cancellation fee of $25. If you choose to withdraw after the deadline, there will be no refunds for any reason.
