Entry Fee: $275 ($285 credit or debit)
Registration Deadline: Exempt Players - Wednesday, June 2, 2021 Non-Exempt Players - Wednesday, June 9, 2021
* Please note that following the Exempt Player Deadline any Non-Exempt Players on the Waiting List will be used to fill those spots in the Championship.
Eligibility: Competitors are required to have an active GHIN Handicap through a USGA Licensed Mississippi Club. Competitors must be bona fide residents of Mississippi for at least 60 days prior to the first round of the Championship. All must conform with the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.
Qualifying: There are no Qualifiers scheduled for the 2021 Mississippi Amateur. Registration is open to the first 120 players that register.

Format: Field size is limited to 120 players. The tournament is scheduled for 72 holes of individual stroke play with a cut to the low 60 plus ties after 36 holes of play. If conditions necessitate the championship being shortened, it will be done at the conclusion of a stipulated round.
Practice Round: Practice rounds are available on Wednesday, June 23rd. Please note that only one(1) Practice Round per player at a discounted rate is permitted.
* The Practice Round Date is set for Wednesday, June 23rd. The rate that day will be $50 cart/tax included. Players that wish to play multiple practice rounds or on a different day may do so at the normal Mossy Oak Golf Club Green Fee Rate and are subject to availability by Mossy Oak Golf Club.
Player Registration: There will be Player Registration on Wednesday, June 23rd from 10:00AM - 4:00PM outside of the golf shop. Players will need to register in order to receive their tee gift. Players who do not receive their tee gifts prior to the start of the Championship will receive them from an MGA staff member following Round 1 play in the scoring area.
Player Food & Beverage: Mossy Oak Golf Club will have lunch items available for purchase during the Practice Round and Tournament Days on the outdoor back patio area. Players are asked to use credit card only when making purchases. There will be a beverage cart available for drink purchases on course.
Player Lunch: The MGA will be providing all players lunch on Friday, June 25th.
Cart Fees: All cart and green fees are included in the tournament entry fee.
Spectator Carts: Spectator carts will not be permitted during this championship with the exception of a spectator who can provide an issued and active Handicap Permit. Final decision will be made by the MGA Staff and also the availability of carts at the host facility.
Caddies: Caddies are permitted during the championship. Players are responsible for supplying their own caddie. Caddies may ride in golf carts if it adheres to the MGA cart policy and there is an available seat. * MGA Cart Policy - there will be a maximum of 2 carts per group and 2 individuals per cart. *
Pairings: Pairings for the opening round will be released and updated on the MGA website by Monday, June 21st. Pairings will also be included in the Player Information that will be emailed to each player by Monday, June 21st.
Electronic Measuring Devices: Electronic devices that measure distance only are permitted for this championship.
USGA Groove Condition of Competition (Not in Effect): The USGA groove rules effective January 1, 2010 are NOT in effect for this competition.
Withdrawal Policy: In the event of a tournament withdraw; the player must notify the Mississippi Golf Association Office at 601-939-1131. If withdraw is made prior to tournament deadline, the player may receive a refund regardless of reason less a $25 administrative fee. For a withdraw made after the entry deadline, the player WILL NOT receive a refund unless the player has experienced a sudden illness or injury, a signed Doctor's note is provided, and only if the Mississippi Golf Association is notified prior to the first round of the tournament.
