60 teams.  Field determined by first-come, first-serve entry process.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to two-person teams with a minimum team total handicap index of 4.0 and a maximum differential of six strokes between partners.  If the differential is more than six strokes, it will be adjusted down to six strokes based off the player with the lowest handicap index.  Both team members must be active members of the GSGA.  By registering for this competition you agree to all of GSGA's policies and procedures that can be accessed using the following link: GSGA Policies & Procedures

FORMAT

36 holes of flighted, Four-Ball stroke play.

PRACTICE ROUND

One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Sea Palms Golf Club to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation on March 11.  Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

  • Monday-Tuesday and Thursday, anytime based on availability.
  • Friday-Sunday, anytime after 1 p.m. based on availability.

Yardages will be posted online before the close of entries and at the host club.  Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and driving range will open at 8:00 a.m. each day of competition.

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on March 21. 

REGISTRATION

No formal registration will be held on site. Player/team withdraws must be called or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted.

CARTS

Practice carts and range fees are $30 plus tax. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available in the clubhouse. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

PRIZES

Gift certificates will be awarded to the low three teams in each flight.

REFUND POLICY

A player may request a FULL refund for a withdrawal up through their starting time on the first day of competitions for ANY reason.  After the player’s starting time has passed on the first day of competition, refunds will not be granted.
