Note: Masks are required by Poppy Hills GC and Pacific Grove GC around and in the clubhouse area.
Format:
36 holes stroke play, 18 holes per day. Championship Flight will play from the Blue NCGA Tee Markers (see yardage sheet). For Big Sur, Golden Gate and Yosemite, men will play from the White NCGA Tee Markers and women will play from the Red NCGA Tee Markers (see yardage sheet). THE CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE FLIGHTED BASED ON June 15th HANDICAP INDEX. All ties will be broken using the USGA method of matching cards.
Flights:
Big Sur (9.2 & Below); Golden Gate (9.3 – 13.8); Yosemite (13.9 & Above).
Competition Schedule:
7:30 AM at Poppy Hills GC with 11-minute intervals and 7:30 at Pacific Grove GC with 11-minute intervals off Tee #1 and #10. Players will be re-paired by score within their flight for the final round. Please be at your assigned tee at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time.

Practice Round Information:
Poppy Hills:
Fee: $90 (Monday-Thursday), $120 (Friday-Sunday); carts are $25 per player (optional). For practice round starting times/availability please call (831) 622-8239.
Pacific Grove:
Fee: $54 (Monday-Thursday), $62 (Friday-Sunday); carts are $19 per player (optional). For practice round starting times/availability please call (831) 648-5775.
Cart Fee Information:
Golf carts are optional at the player’s expense. Cart rental is $25 per bag at Poppy Hills and $19 per bag at Pacific Grove. A maximum of two golf carts per group is permitted. Push carts may be rented at Poppy Hills and at Pacific Grove. Push carts are limited at both facilities and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED
Golf Shop:
The Poppy Hills golf shop will open at 6:30 AM. Pacific Grove Pro Shop will open at 5:30 am. Masks are required in both pro shops at all times.
Practice Range:
The driving range is open and spaced for safe distancing. Both Poppy Hills and Pacific Grove ranges will open at 7:00 am and will have limited spots available. You will have 10 minutes on the driving range and 10 minutes on the practice putting green to warm up. Players will not be allowed on the range more than 30 minutes before their scheduled tee time and 20 minutes before on the putting green.
Guest Policy:
Contestants are allowed to have one (1) guest with them during the competition. Guests may not ride in or otherwise occupy golf carts for any reason.
Payment Information:
Poppy Hills:
Cash is not accepted at Poppy Hills facility. Major credit cards are accepted for all purchases in the golf shop and F&B areas.
Pacific Grove:
Cash is not accepted in the pro shop of Pacific Grove only major credit cards/debit cards. Major credit cards and cash are accepted in the F&B areas at Pacific Grove.
Food and Beverage Information:
Poppy Hills: Porter’s in the Forest WILL be open with the following guidelines.
Operational Hours: Upstairs Dining Service 7am - 5pm Snack Bar Service 9am - 3:30pm
Seating areas & Usage:
As of now they have 8 tables of 4 on the deck with 2 tables of 4 below at the snack bar. Guests entering the patio or snack bar area MUST have a mask on for ordering. The Mask must remain on until you are seated with your beverage for it to be removed.
Pacific Grove: Point Pino’s Grill
Operational Hours: 7am – 3pm.
Additional Information:
Prior to the first day of the event, you must make yourself familiar with the Player Handbook, Hard Card and Pace of Play Policy. You, the player, are responsible for knowing this information.
Scoring: Players are expected to download the USGA TM app (or GolfGenius). The GGID for the group is available on the scorecard PDF available above. This GGID will also be texted to each player and available with the starter.
- Within the group, players should enter scores for one other player. If someone does not have a phone available, players must ensure at least one player in the group is entering scores.
- At the end of the round, all players in the group must confirm hole-by-hole scores posted online are correct. This can be done using the Leaderboard in the app or online in this event portal.
- Any issues with scores after leaving your group must be communicated to staff via text, call or email no later than one hour after the final group has entered the 18th hole scores. After that time, the scorecard is treated as officially returned and certified. Staff contact information is available in the Notice to Players linked above.

Deciding Ties: All ties will be broken by the USGA recommended method of matching scorecards (Committee Procedures, Section 5A(6)).
