COVID-19 Protocols:
-The NCGA will monitor local COVID-19 protocols in operating this event. More information may be provided by the Staff-In-Charge of this event at a later date.

FORMAT:
Four-Ball Stableford Points
- Two partners compete as a side, with each playing a separate ball. A player’s net score on a hole will be given a point value for net eagle, birdie, par, bogey, and double bogey or worse. The side’s score for a hole is the lower net score of the partners on that hole. Sides with the lowest net totals in each flight will receive gift card money.

-Per USGA recommendations, players will receive 85% of their course handicap.
-An optional skins game is offered for this event in online registration.  Fifty percent of the skins’ money will go toward the gross pot, while the other 50 percent will go toward the net pot. For the net pot, all players will receive 100% of their course handicap with a maximum course handicap of 36 applied. If no skins are won outright, the fee is not refunded.
-This event will place partners in flights based on their combined indexes. The handicap indexes used for this and all WNT events will be a player’s index from approximately 3-5 days prior to the event date.

RULES/TEES:
-USGA Rules of Golf apply during play.
-For partner events all competitors regardless of handicap index will play from the same set of tees in respect to their gender: Men – tees measuring between 6000-6500 yards; Women – tees measuring between 5000-5500. For individual events, players may be placed in flights based on handicap index and may be placed on different tees based on their flight/index. Lower handicap players (10.0 or less) may request to play a longer tee (6400+ yards for men, 5500+ for women), while higher handicap (above 18.4) and senior players (55 and up) may request to play a shorter tee (under 6000 for men, under 5000 for women), when the course allows and approved by WNT staff. All tee preferences must be submitted to staff no later than 5 days prior to the event.

KEY NOTES:
-Players MUST be an active NCGA member to participate. NCGA tournaments are open to amateur golfers who are members of a current NCGA member club in good standing.  The USGA’s definition of an amateur golfer is the standard of the NCGA.  Participants must meet all the eligibility requirements for the event they are entering. Any member who has not established a current numeric handicap index (CI) is ineligible to win prizes or skins.

-You can register as an individual and you will play with other participants of similar ability. We will do the best we can to pair similarly skilled players together. If you have a specific request as to who to play with, please note it in registration.
-All events will require that participants display proper golf etiquette and behaviors. This would include no denim, no cut-off clothing, the removal of hats when inside facility buildings and no foul language. Players could be given further prohibitions as the club sees fit but those will be provided in the player e-mail. The NCGA does have the right to remove anyone for not abiding by these rules at any time. Being removed from property would result in the loss of all funds.

-The NCGA reserves their right to adjust any player’s handicap index for the Weekend Net Tour events.

HANDICAPPING: All players are subject to the 2021 Weekend Net Tour handicap policy which can be viewed at:
