Format:

All players, 54 hole stroke play.  36 holes Monday and 18 Tuesday.

 

First Tee Time:

Monday at 7:30 am off tees #1 and #10.  The second round for the will start at 1:00 pm.

Tuesday at 7:30 am off tees #1 and #10.  Players will be repaired by day 1 scores. 

Players should be at their assigned tee 10 minutes prior to their tee time, please allow the prior group to clear before heading over.  

 

Tees:                                                                                     

Boys will play from the Blue NCGA Tees where they are placed.  Girls will play the Red NCGA Tees where they are placed.

Practice Round Information:                                           

Practice rounds are available at Lake Merced on July 7th, 8th and 11th after 3:00 PM. Please note; this is the only time they will be allowed.  Tee times can be made within 7 days in advance. Please call the pro shop at 650 755-2239 to make arrangments.  The practice round rate will be $75 and they will allow for a guest to join if they'd like and the guest rate will be $125.  Please note: playes are only allowed one practice round.

No paper materials will be provided or available on site.

 

Practice Balls:                                                                     

Range balls are included in the entry fee.  The range will be available at 7:00am on Monday and Tuesday.  Players may not show up more than 30 minutes prior to their starting time.  Players will have 10 minutes to hit balls and 10 minutes to putt on the prcatice green before heading to the tee.   Please do not show up early and please do not putt unless you are in the group next on the tee. 

 

Caddies & Transportation:                                               

No caddies or motorized carts will be allowed during the championship proper.  Each competitor must carry his/her own bag for the duration of the championship.  Pull/push carts are permitted.

 

Spectators:                                                                          

Spectators are welcome; please limit the spectators to two family members per player.  All spectators MUST follow the policy of keeping at least 25 yards from the players during the stipulated round.  Spectator carts are not permitted.  Disabled spectator carts are available but will need to be cleared by Haley Whitbeck on the day of the event.  Disabled spectators will need to pay for the cart in the golf shop.  

 

Food and Beverage Information:                                   

Food:  Players lunches will be provided on Monday after their first round.  For spectators a limited food selection will be available for purchase each day at Cafe 19 adjacent to the pro shop from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. 

Monday:  A box lunch will be served for the players and need to be picked up between rounds. 

Tuesday:  A buffett BBQ lunch will be served for the players at the end of their round.

Additional Information:                                                 

Prior to the first day of the event, you must make yourself familiar with the Player Handbook, Hard Card and Pace of Play Policy. You, the player, are responsible for knowing this information.

 

Scoring: Players are expected to download the USGA TM app (or GolfGenius). The GGID for the group is available on the scorecard PDF available above. This GGID will also be texted to each player and available with the starter.

  • Within the group, players should enter scores for one other player. If someone does not have a phone available, players must ensure at least one player in the group is entering scores.
  • At the end of the round, all players in the group must confirm hole-by-hole scores posted online are correct. This can be done using the Leaderboard in the app or online in this event portal.
  • Any issues with scores after leaving your group must be communicated to staff via text, call or email no later than one hour after the final group has entered the 18th hole scores. After that time, the scorecard is treated as officially returned and certified. Staff contact information is available in the Notice to Players linked above.

Deciding Tie(s): In the event of a tie for first place, a hole-by-hole play-off will be conducted immediately following the conclusion of play. Ties for second and third will be decided using the USGA’s method for matching cards if not broken during the play-off for first place. (Committee Procedures, Section 5A(6)).

 

Alternates:                                                                           

Players who did not qualify, but are alternates will be notified if a space opens in your flight.  If you are not available to play please
