28th WPGA Spring Stroke Play Championship
Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Williams Golf & Country Club, in Weirton, WV

 

The competition is 36 holes of stroke play with a field of 84 players. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. In the event of a tie for first place, a hole by hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee.

 

Practice: Practice rounds can be scheduled by contacting the golf shop at 304-748-2340.  Practice rounds are available at the discretion of the pro shop. Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player. Practice rounds will be at a cost of $80.

 

Tee Markers: All play is from the BLUE WPGA tee markers. The course will play roughly 6,600 yards depending on course conditions. The starting tees for rounds one and two will be hole #1 and hole #10.

 

Transportation/Caddies: Automotive transportation is permitted for the competition and included in the entry fee. Players may bring their own caddies if they choose. Two carts per group will be permitted for threesomes and one cart per twosome. Williams does not offer caddies.  

 

Food: The WPGA provides water on course, coffee & juices prior to the competition and lunch will be provided after the competition of round 1. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

 

Footwear: METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.

 

Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and fifteen minutes (4:15). The Pace of Play Policy can be found HERE.

Spectator Info: No spectator carts will be permitted for the competition without pre-approved ADA verification. Please contact the WPGA office for ADA guidelines. ADA carts are based on availability.
