AGES/ELIGIBILITY

 Open to male amateur golfers who are GSGA members and residents of the state of Georgia.

CHAMPIONSHIP FEE

Player’s advancing to the Championship will be responsible for a $200.00 Championship fee.  This fee will be due from the player upon being transferred to the Championship proper in the online registration system.  The credit card used to initially register will be charged $200.00 to complete the processing of the Championship fee.

FIELD SIZE

78 players’ maximum at each qualifying site.

FORMAT

18 hole individual stroke play qualifier.  A total of 144 players will advance to the Championship proper. Qualifying places will be awarded according to a pro-rated formula.  You will be informed as to the number of qualifying places in your section the day of qualifying.

PRACTICE ROUND

One practice round per player. Please call Idle Hour Club to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation on May 13th.  Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. CASH ONLY will be accepted.

The BLACK tees will be utilized for this qualifier.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. on the day of qualifying

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on May 19th. 

REGISTRATION

No formal registration will be held on site. Player withdraws must be called or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted. By registering for this competition, you agree to all of GSGA's policies and procedures that can be accessed using the following link: GSGA Policies & Procedures

CARTS

Practice round cart and range fees are $30 plus tax. CASH ONLY will be accepted. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the championship fee. 

RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available at the half way house.

REFUND POLICY

A player may request a FULL refund for a withdrawal up through their starting time on the first day of competitions for ANY reason.  After the player’s starting time has passed on the first day of competition, refunds will not be granted.
