AGES/ELIGIBILITY Open to male amateur golfers who are GSGA members whose handicap index does not exceed 10.0 and residents of the State of Georgia. |

FIELD SIZE 144 players |
|
FORMAT 72 holes of individual stroke play. After 36 holes of play, the field will be cut to the low 70 players and ties. |

PRACTICE ROUND One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Cherokee Town and Country Club to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation. Practice round cart and range fee is $30. Cash ONLY will be accepted.

YARDAGES & TEES A practice yardage sheet will be available after the close of entries on the event portal page. Practice yardage sheets will also be available at the club. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.
Club yardage books will be provided to players when checking in for their practice round or at Player Registration.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE The golf shop and driving range will open by 6:30 a.m. each day of competition. |
|
STARTING TIMES Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on July 5. |
|
REGISTRATION Formal registration will be held outside the Chairmans Lounge (near snack shop/halfway house/back of clubhouse) on Wednesday, July 7 from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m and Thursday, July 8 from 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. If you are not able to register in person during this time, please call the Cherokee Town and Country Club golf shop then to confirm you will be playing in round one on Thursday and register when you arrive Thursday. |

CARTS Practice round cart and range fees are $30. Cash ONLY will be accepted. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the championship fee. |
|
CADDIES Caddies are permitted. Players may provide their own caddie. If you would like to use a host club caddie, please contact Dwight Bartlett at (770) 993-4401. Push/pull carts are NOT permitted at Cherokee Town & Country Club. |

RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY The GSGA Rules of Play, Pace of Play and Spectator Cart Policy shall be in effect. Click here to view policies. |

DRESS CODE Proper golf attire must be worn in all phases of this Championship. No tank tops, tee shirts, or blue jeans will be allowed. Competitors must be neat in respect to personal grooming and clothing. Shorts must be Bermuda length. Shirts must have collars. |
|
FOOD SERVICE Food service will be available all day on the outside lawn throughout the Championship. Breakfast will be available for purchase from the halfway house beginning at 7:00 a.m. each day. Lunch will be provided by GSGA for players for rounds 1 & 2. Cash and credit card is accepted for food and beverage purchases. Players may only purchase F&B inside the Men's Grill if accompanied by a member. |

PRIZES Gift certificates will be awarded to the low 25 finishers. The champion will also receive an additional reward and their name inscribed on the Robert H. Martin trophy. |

REFUND POLICY A player may request a FULL refund for a withdraw up until their starting time on the first day of competitions for ANY reason. After the player’s starting time has passed on the first day of competition, refunds will not be granted. |
