AGES/ELIGIBILITY

 Open to two-person teams of female amateur golfers with a maximum individual USGA Handicap Index of 31.9 and a maximum team differential of eight strokes; must be 18 years old by September 20. Entries are on a first come, first serve basis.

FIELD SIZE

60 teams; Teams will play in both gross and net divisions. Field will be expanded if 80 teams enter, with a maximum of 100 teams.

FORMAT

36 holes, Gross and Net flighted competitions will be played simultaneously by all players and trophies will be awarded to both champions. All players will play from one set of tees/yardages (approximately 5000-5400 yards) and 90% of your handicap index. Round 1 - Four-Ball (Gross & Net), Round 2 - Scramble.

PRACTICE ROUND

One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Big Canoe and speak with Mike Miller (678-378-0326) to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation on September 9th.  Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

A combination of tee markers and yardages will be utilized for the championship.  See the event details page for more information and a link to the practice yardage sheet.  Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. A complete practice yardage sheet will be provided for players playing practice rounds.

 

 

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:30 a.m. each day of competition.

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on September 9. 

REGISTRATION

No formal registration will be held on site. Player withdraws must be called or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted.

CARTS

Practice carts and range fees are $30 plus tax. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available at the grill and Duffer's.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each net flight. The overall gross and net champions will receive an additional gift certificate.

REFUND POLICY

A player may request a FULL refund for a withdrawal up through their starting time on the first day of competitions for ANY reason.  After the player’s starting time has passed on the first day of competition, refunds will not be granted.
