Eligibility
Male amateurs age 25 or older as of October 25, 2021.  

Entry Fee and Deadline
$165 (carts included).  Deadline for entry is Monday, October 18th at 11:59 pm.

Format
36 holes of individual stroke play.  Overall Champion to be determined.  The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round.  Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.

Optional Skins Game
We will be running a daily optional skins game (gross only) for players that wish to participate.  The cost is $20 per player which gets the player into the game for both days of the championship.  If you wish to participate, please bring cash to the first day of the championship and give it to the starter before you begin your first round of play. 

Divisions & Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at approximately 6,800 yards (all participants).

Two age divisions:

  • 25 to 49 (gross scoring only)
  • 50 & Older (gross & net scoring)


Practice Round
Practice round are available for $50 (cart included).  Please call the golf shop to schedule a practice round time.  Available times are at the discretion of the host club.  

Food & Beverage
The host club is typically closed on Monday so there will be very limited food & beverage options available on day one of the championship.  Please plan accordingly and bring snacks and a personal cooler for your needs during round one.  Normal food and beverage service options will be open on day two of the championship.

Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time.  Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.

Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are included for both rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee. 

Caddies are allowed for this event and the actions of the caddie during the round are the responsibility of the player (Rule 10.3c). This is the default postion for caddies for Central Links Golf events, but availability may vary from event to event or any other factors affecting this policy. Caddies are allowed to ride on and operate the golf cart, provided space is available. Central Links Golf has a strict two carts per group policy and the carts are reserved for the players first. If a group has more than one caddie, arrangements must be made within the group to accomodate the cart policy.


Spectator carts will NOT be available.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event.  You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time.  This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.

Score Posting
Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System.

Method of Payments
The host club accepts all forms of payment for all purchases.
 

When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the Committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
