80th Mixed Foursomes Championship
Crestwood CC - August 9 & 10, 2021

 

**32 teams/64 participants will be needed to run the tournament

If we do not have this number of participants by July 5th, we will need to cancel the tournament
Registration will remain open until August 1st, if we have 32 teams on July 5th**

 

Eligibility:  Amateur golfers who have an active RIGA/GHIN handicap & are RIGA Members.
Team must consist of (1) male and (1) female
 
Tournament Format:
August 9&10, 2021 - Crestwood CC

Monday, August 9th - Shotgun 8:30am - Qualifying Round - 18 Holes Foursomes Stroke Play - Lunch included - 1st Round Matches after lunch
Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 - Morning tee times - 2nd match - Divisions of 8 - Winner of morning match will play for Championship in afternoon

Foursomes stroke and match play is alternate shot.  The partners must play alternately from the teeing grounds and alternate during the play of each hole

Championship Division is Gross all others Net

In the event of a tie for the 8th or final seed of match play, there will be a sudden death playoff immediately following the conpletion of the Qualifying Round

 

There will be an 18 hole stroke play consolation round on 9/10/2021 for teams that do not qualify for match play
 
There is no handicap maximum, however 36.0 is the highest index a player can use.  
Handicaps used will be 9/6/2021

 
Entries - Form, Fee, Closing Date:  Entrants are solely responsible for securing and returning completed entry form by the due date.  Entries must be received at the RIGA office by August 1, 2021 and be accompanied by the entry fee of $280.00 per team.
 
You may enter online using a credit card at www.rigalinks.org  up until the entry deadline.  
 
Cart and Caddie policy: Carts are required and fees are included in the entry fee.
 
Dress Code: Proper dress is required at all times.    
Spikeless shoes are mandatory.
 

Conditions/Schedules:  The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein.  The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final

 

Important: Entries must be received by August 1, 2021. Completed entry form must be accompanied by entry fee of $280.00 (Made payable to RIGA). If you withdraw from an event after the registration deadline has closed, there will be no refunds given. You may find a substitution and work out payment between each other.  No Faxed Entries
