ELIGIBILITY: RDGA Members; men, all ages
START TIMES: Beginning at 7:30 am (off #1 and #10 tees) and again at 12:30 pm (off #1 and #10 tees) for first two rounds, on West Course. Round 3 will begin at 12:00 noon off #1 tee on East Course.

REGISTRATION CLOSES FOR EXEMPT PLAYERS: Tuesday, June 1 (11:59 pm)
REGISTRATION OPENS FOR DISTRICT QUALIFIERS: Beginning Saturday, June 19 (9:00 am)
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Thursday, July 15, 2021 (11:59 pm)
FORMAT: The RDGA District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial features 54 holes of scratch stroke play competition over three days. An official Practice Round on the West Course only, will be scheduled for Tuesday, July 20 - players must indicate on their registration forms if they intend to play. Practice round will be a 2:00 pm shotgun start. Following two rounds of play, the field will be cut to the low 40 players and ties. Ties for first will result in a sudden death playoff to determine the champion.
ABOUT: The premier Championship for Rochester-area amateurs is named in honor of the late John H. Ryan Jr., who grew up in the RDGA junior and amateur ranks, winning the District Junior Championship once and back-to-back District Championships in 1981 and 1982 before losing his life to a boating accident in 1982. Now in it's 91st year, this year's District Champion will receive an invitation into the 2022 Monroe Invitational and all players who make the 36-hole cut will be exempt from qualifying for the 2022 RDGA District Championship at the Country Club of Rochester. Lunch will be provided to contestants on each day of the Championship.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless you are exempt from qualifying (CLICK HERE to see the list of 2021 RDGA Championship exemptions), you must first enter one of three District Championship Qualifiers before registering for the Championship. Click on the "Qualifiers" tab above for more information.
EXEMPT PLAYERS with invitations to register will have until JUNE 1 at 11:59 pm to register - after which registration will be CLOSED. Registration will then re-open ONLY for players earning qualifying spots in any of the three District Championship Qualifiers, beginning on Saturday, June 19 at 9:00 am.
