36th WPGA Mid-Amateur Championship
Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Chartiers Country Club in Pittsburgh, PA

 

The competition is 36 holes of stroke play. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. In the event of a tie for first place, a hole by hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee.

 

Practice: Practice Rounds are available on Saturday, September 4th and are at the discretion of the Pro Shop. Please contact the Pro Shop at 412-921-5360. The cost of the practice round is $75. The driving range will open one hour before the first tee time the morning of the competition.

 

Tee Markers: All play is from the BLUE WPGA tee markers. The course will play roughly 6,450 yards depending on course conditions. The starting tees for rounds one and two will be Hole #1 and Hole #10.

 

Transportation/Caddies: Automotive transportation is permitted for the competition and included in the entry fee. Caddies are permitted for the Championship and must walk in performance of their duties.

Food: The WPGA provides water on course, coffee & juices prior to the competition and lunch will be provided after the completion of round 1. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

 

Footwear: METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.

 

Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and twenty minutes (4:20). The Pace of Play Policy can be found HERE.

 

Spectator Info: Spectator carts are not permitted for the Championship. Directions to the club can be found on the Chartiers Country Club website.
