The Carolinas Senior Women's Amateur Championship began in 1999. The championship determines the senior women's champion of the Carolinas. This championship is conducted at 36 holes of stroke play with a Championship division and a Carolinas division (shorter course). The competition includes gross and net scores and prizes are given for gross and net winners in each flight. Players are pre-flighted within their division based on Handicap Index®. The champion of the tournament will be named from the Championship Division only. Entry is open to any female amateur golfer who has reached her 50th birthday,maintains a residence in North Carolina or South Carolinas, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index®.
