ENTRY FEE: Championship Division - $135 (36 holes), Senior Divisions - $70 (18 holes)

RDGA TOURNAMENT PROCEDURES for 2021: The RDGA is continuing to provide health and safety guidelines for players to follow when participating in RDGA Tournaments this year, based on New York State COVID-19 guidance as well as best practices being followed by leading golf organizations across the country. FORMATS: The Rochester Women's Championship is open to female members of both the WRDGA and RDGA with active GHIN Handicaps of 25 or lower (as of 7/31/2021) and will consist of 36 holes of stroke play competition over both days of the event. Players will compete from the Blue Heron Hills Women's White Tees, at approximately 5,949 yards, with prizes awarded the Top 3 finishers. Tie for first will result in a sudden death playoff to determine the champion.
The Rochester Senior and Super Senior Women's Championships are open to female members of the WRDGA and RDGA with active GHIN Handicaps of 25 or lower - between the ages of 50 and 64 for the Senior Division and 65 and above for the Super Senior Division - and will consist of 18 holes of stroke play competition on Sunday, August 8. The Senior Division will compete from the Blue Heron Hills Women's Red Tees, at approximately 5,293 yards and the Super Senior Division will compete from the Blue Heron Hills Women's Red/Black Tees, at approximately 4,598 yards, with prizes awarded to the top 3 finishers in each division. Tie for first will result in a sudden death playoff to determine the champion. Women above the age of 65 may play in the Senior Division (ages 50-64) if they wish to do so.
ABOUT: The winner of the 2021 Rochester Women's Championship will receive the Danielle E. Downey Memorial Trophy, traditionally presented to the winner of the RDGA Women's Championship since 2014. Named in honor of the late Danielle Downey, who grew up in the local junior and amateur ranks to play collegiately - and eventually on the LPGA Tour - this year's Rochester Women's Championship is a special honor to her memory.
