EVENT FORMAT
2-PERSON TEAM SCRAMBLE
- Both players tee-off. Select the best drive.
- Both players hit from there to the green. Select best shot to green.
- Both players putt from the selected shot, and so on until you have a team scramble score for every hole
*NET DIVISION (can be a mixed gender team)
- Male Golfers - approx. 6,300 yards.
- Female Golfers = approx. 5,300 yards (you may have a mixed team)
- Your team will receive 30% of your team's total handicap
- For Example. If Player A = 10 hdcp, and Player B = 8 hcp, the Team total = 18 x 30% = 5.4. Rounded down = 5.
- TEAM NET SCORE = Your Gross Scramble Score minus your adjusted team handicap (in this case, 5)
- For example: Team scramble = 72 (-5)= 67
*OPEN DIVISION (can be a mixed gender team)
- Male Golfers - Approx. 6,800 yards.
- Female Golfers: Approx. 5,900 yards
- Your team will play a gross team scramble with no strokes given.

TEAM COMPOSITION
OPEN DIVISION ('PROS'): May consist of the following:
- Two Pros, one Pro & one ‘scratch’ Amateur or Two ‘scratch’ Amateurs
NET DIVISION ('JOES'): May consist of any 2 amateurs with registered Golf Canada or USGA handicap.
(Standard prize payouts will apply to the top 30% of teams in each division)
Start Times:
Approximately 10am Tee-Time Start with our final group tee-ing off approximately 2pm.
Order of Play: OPEN DIVISION, then NET DIVISION.
Full Field Size: 80 teams (40 “PROS” and 40 “JOES”)
*Note: Pros will win cash for payouts. Amateurs will win $ value in Prize Credits.

*NOTE: Mixed gender teams are not eligible for net skins game due to male vs. female stroke holes being different. If they would like to compete in the Hole-in-one Jackpot, they may opt to pay $5 entry fee at registration to qualify.

SKINS GAME / PROGRESSIVE HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOT RULES
- In order to qualify for the Hole-in-one (H.I.O) JACKPOT offered at a VGT event, a player must be entered into the $20 skins game/hole-in-one pot for that event. If there is no winner of the hole-in-one at VGT event, the current hole-in-one pot will carry over to the next event until we have a winner of the jackpot. If by the end of the Winter Tour the jackpot has not been won, the current jackpot will be carried over into the Summer Tour schedule commencing on March 19th, 2020.
- If the jackpot accumulates to $5,000, it will be cut-off at $5,000 and the first eligible person (see above) to score a hole-in-one on an eligible jackpot hole will receive the $5,000 payout. A secondary Hole-in-one purse will be started as soon as the original jackpot reaches $5,000. From the time the original purse reaches $5,000, moneys collected for the H.I.O purse will accumulate in this secondary pot while the first pot remains at $5,000. The secondary pot will continue to grow until the next eligible player scores a hole-in-one on the designated jackpot hole at a VGT event. The maximum H.I.O purse paid out at any time will be $5,000, and once the pot has reached $5,000, a 3rd and 4th purse (and so on) will be established for future winners.
- Due to the skill difference of Pros versus the Amateurs in the field, we level the playing field for the JACKPOT two ways:
- By allowing the A & B amateurs to tee-off a shorter designated tee-box at various times compared to Professionals and Championship Amateurs.
- VGT hosts numerous Amateur only events where Amateurs have a chance to win the JACKPOT without Pros in the field.
Golf Course Details
Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club is set high above Coquitlam, on Eagle Mountain. Offering great golf in a spectacular mountain setting only 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Course designer Michael Hurdzan has incorporated large Douglas Firs, massive granite rock faces, and rugged ravines into this par 72, 6770 yard course. Power carts are equipped with GPS terminals that give you flyovers, tips and yardage on every hole. Adding to the unforgettable golf experience is the 35,000 sq ft wood and beam west coast inspired clubhouse.
