2021 US Open Qualifying - Eastward Ho!

Practice Rounds: Beginning April 1st, players may schedule one practice round with the club in the month of April by contacting the Eastward Ho! Pro Shop. Practice rounds are available on WEEKDAYS only (some restrictions apply, subject to course availability) and arrangements must be made in advance with the Eastward Ho! Pro Shop.
The USGA & Mass Golf request that players play no more than one golf ball during their practice round and arrive no more than 30 minutes prior to their scheduled practice round time. There is a mandatory $27/player (CASH ONLY) trail fee whether a player walks or rides during the practice round. Practice Rounds are available for competitors only.
Players are permitted to bring a caddy for the practice round to perform normal duties of a caddy (carry bag, take notes, provide advice, etc.) but only the registered competitor is permitted to play during the practice round.

Starting Times: Play will begin at 8:00am off the 1st & 10th tees. Pairings & Starting Times will be available on/before Friday, April 23rd. When available, players can access starting times by clicking the "Starting Times" tab above.
Withdrawals: Please advise the Mass Golf office immediately by e-mailing ghowell@massgolf.org if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. If there is a need to call the Mass Golf office after the close of business on the day prior to the qualifier, please e-mail Greg Howell at ghowell@massgolf.org.
Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 5 Qualifying Spots and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to Second Stage Qualifying for the 121st U.S. Open Championship at Torrey Pines GC (San Diego, CA).
Distance Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.
Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation will NOT be permitted. Pull/push carts will be permitted.
Caddies: Caddies are permitted.
Golf Ball: The One-Ball Rule will be in effect. See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.
Competition Tees/ Yardage: The competition will be played approximately from the BLACK tee yardage (Approx 6,400 yards; par 71).
Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: The practice facilities will be open and available at 7:00am. The practice range is for IRONS ONLY. Access to facilities may be limited due to COVID-19 policies set by the state of Massachusetts, Mass Golf, the USGA, or the host facility. Please follow & observe any signage or instructions received in regards to COVID policies.
Food & Beverage: Breakfast will NOT be available on the morning of the qualifier. Lunch will be availble after the qualifying round, at the player's expense. Eastward Ho! is a CASH ONLY facility.
Dress Code: Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application.
*Please also review the 2021 USGA Hard Card and other policies located under the tab labled "USGA Policies" prior to competion.
*There will be no regsitration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to recieve local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
