Practice Rounds: A practice round may be scheduled by calling the golf shop and identifying yourself as a competitor in the field. Practice rounds available for competitors only and each player is limited to one practice round. Mass Golf and the USGA requests that each player play only one ball at each hole during the practice round. Please arrive to the club no more than 45 minutes prior to your scheduled practice round. The price of a cart during the practice round is $30 - CASH ONLY.
Limited Times are available Sunday 5/2 - Tuesday 5/4.

Starting Times: Play will begin at 7:45 am off the 1st & 10th tees. Players will be given approximately 25-35 minutes between Rounds 1 & 2. Pairings & Starting Times will be available on Thursday, April 15th. When available, players can access starting times by clicking the "Starting Times" tab above.
Withdrawals: Please advise the Mass Golf office immediately by e-mailing ghowell@massgolf.org if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. If there is a need to call the Mass Golf office after the close of business on the day prior to the qualifier, please e-mail Greg Howell at ghowell@massgolf.org.
Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 2 Qualifying Spots and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to the 76th U.S. Women's Open Championship at The Olympic Club (San Francisco, CA).
Distance Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.
Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation will NOT be permitted during the player's round. Pull/push carts will be permitted.
Caddies & Push Carts: Players are permitted to employ a caddy and/or use a push cart. If a player would like to arrange employment of a Dedham Country & Polo Club caddy, arrangements must be made in advance by contacting Danny Sullivan – dsullivan@dedhamclub.org.
Golf Ball: The One-Ball Rule will be in effect. See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.
Competition Tees/ Yardage: Compeition Tees & Yardage are approximate and subject to change. Please see the chart below for approximate yardage estimates, along with the correlating club tee marker to play during a practice round. Tees are either Gold, Black, or White. The competition will be played from approximately 6,000 yards - Par 70.

Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: The practice facilities will be open and available at 6:45 am. Access to facilities may be limited due to COVID-19 policies set by the state of Massachusetts, Mass Golf, the USGA, or the host facility. Please follow & observe any signage or instructions received in regards to COVID policies.
Food & Beverage: Breakfast will NOT be available on the morning of the qualifier. Box lunches will be available for players immediately after the conclusion of their first round. The cost of a box lunch is $22 inclusive of all taxes and house charges. Dedham Country & Polo Club is a CASH ONLY facility.
Dress Code: Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application.

*There will be no regsitration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to recieve local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
