ELIGIBILITY

This championship is open to junior boys and girls who meet the following requirements:

  • Membership: Players (male or female) must reside in on one of the following counties: Onondaga, Cortland, Cayuga, Madison, Oswego, Oneida, Seneca, Tompkins, and Wayne County east of Route 14.

  • Age: Players must be 18 or younger as of June 29, 2021.

 

ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY

  • Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.

  • Entry Fee: $60. This includes all green fees and awards.

  • Deadline: Entries must be received prior to the deadline (5PM EST on Wednesday, June 23, 2021). Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.

  • Refund Policy: The entry fee, less a $20 service fee, will be refunded if a player withdraws 24 hours prior to the start of the event.

 

FORMAT, DIVISIONS & TEES

The format is 54 holes at stroke play (no cut), played in 18-hole rounds at three courses (Rogues Roost East, Bellevue CC and Pompey Club). Players compete in the following divisions from the listed tees:

  • Boys' Junior (ages 15-18)

    • Rogues Roost: Blue Tees (6,800 yards)

    • Bellevue: Blue Teees (6,540 yards)

    • Pompey Club: Blue Tees (6,550 yards)

  • Boys' Sub-Junior (ages 14 & under)

    • Rogues Roost: White (6,300 yards)

    • Bellevue: White Tees (6,157 yards)

    • Pompey Club: White Tees (6,272 yards)

  • Girls' Junior (ages 18 & under)

    • Rogues Roost: Red (5,394 yards)

    • Bellevue: Red (5,541 yards)

    • Pompey Club: Red (5,438 yards)

 

RULES

All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. Players will be provided a "Notice to Players" rules sheet containing local rules and conditions. The SDGA will have volunteer Rules Officials on the course to provide rulings and answer questions.

CADDIES

The use of caddies is permitted, but they must be under 21 years old and may not be related to the player.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE

There is no food included with this tournament.

 

GOLF CARTS

The use of a golf cart is not permitted. Push carts are approved.

 

RANGE

Varies by course. At Pompey Club, pick up your free range token in the ProShop.

 

AWARDS

Trophies will be awarded to the winners.
