ENTRY FEE

The entry fee includes a round of golf, cart, range, and (2) complimentary drink tokens.

FIELD SIZE

100 players maximum; Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis with up to 20 players in each of five divisions noted below.  Overflow entries will be placed on a waitlist.  If at the close of entries a division does not fill its allotted 20 spots, additional spots may be added in other divisions to maximize the overall field size.  Additional division spots will be added from the waitlist in the order in which players registered.  

FORMAT

This event will be an 18-hole Stroke Play format with an optional Four-Ball competition.  Competition prizes will be awarded for both GROSS and NET results in each division (Men’s A, Men’s B, Women, Senior Men, Senior Women) and for the adjacent Four-Ball competition.

DIVISION BREAKDOWN & PLAYING YARDAGES

Divisions will compete using the approximate yardages below.  Site specific yardages/tees will be posted on the event portal.

Men’s A – Handicap Index 9.9 or less – 6400-6800 yards.

Men’s B – Handicap Index 10.0 or higher – 6000-6400 yards.

Senior Men – No handicap limits – 5800-6300 yards.

Women – No handicap limits – 5100-5600 yards

Senior Women – No handicap limits – 4800-5300 yards.

FOOD SERVICE

Limited food and beverage options will be available throughout the day at the clubhouse/halfway house.  Credit cards and cash will be accepted.

ACCEPTABLE PAYMENT OPTIONS

Credit cards and cash will be accepted for food and beverage purchases.

ON-SITE REGISTRATION

Players are requested to check-in at the registration table upon arrival at the golf course.  Registration will open at 7:30 a.m.  Please arrive and register no later than 8:45 a.m.

PAIRINGS

Pairings will be posted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20.

PRIZES

PGA Tour Superstore gift cards will be distributed to the top GROSS & NET winners of each division (Men’s A, Men’s B, Women, Senior Men, Senior Women) and adjacent Four-Ball competition.  Ties will be broken by USGA recommended scorecard playoff procedure.

An optional Skins game will be conducted.  Players will have the opportunity to buy-in to the Skins game for $10 during the on-site registration process.

SEASON POINTS

Players will receive points throughout the course of the season based on finishes in each event played.  The top 10 players in each division will receive an invitation to the season ending championship.  Players will receive points for both their gross and net finish in regular season events.  Points allocation to be determined by field/division sizes.

WEATHER SHORTENED EVENTS

When weather causes a round to be shortened, the GSGA will do what is fair to determine who wins prizes.  Nine holes might constitute an official event.  Entry fees will generally not be refunded, but if only a few holes are played, we will work with the club to get the players a rain check or another option.  The GSGA will do everything possible to complete the round that day.  Please note that conditions may dictate that players be able to play cart paths only for an event.
