The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens
The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert is a unique zoo and botanical garden that specializes in the deserts of the world with a mission of desert conservation through preservation, education, and appreciation.
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway—the world’s largest rotating tram car—travels over two-and-one-half miles along the cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting visitors to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness Area. During this ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering spectacular vistas of the valley below. Advance Ticket Purchase Required
Agua Caliente Casino offers an action-packed, 24-hour casino with slots, table games, high-limit gaming and a gorgeous live music lounge in a setting that is stylish, yet comfortable. Agua Caliente Casino is also home to the area’s only fully enclosed, non-smoking slot room.
Cabot's Pueblo Museum is a historical house museum consisting of a large, Hopi-style pueblo home. The house is a stunning example of the Pueblo revival style and was built by Cabot Yerxa, an explorer and activist who constructed the home out of things he found in the desert.
