Crestview Country Club opened in 1921 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones.  Crestview Country Club has the distinction of being the only 36-hole Country Club in the state of Kansas. 

This is the eighth time Crestview Country Club has hosted the Kansas Amateur.  Previous years were 1933, 1949, 1953, 1961, 1972, 1982 and 1996.  Wichita's Corey Novascone was victorious in the 1996 Kansas Amateur.
