2021 US Women's Amateur Qualifying - Boston GC

Practice Rounds: Players may schedule one practice round with the club by e-mailing the Boston Golf Club Pro Shop at golfshop@bostongolfclub.org. Practice rounds are based on club availability and preffered days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Players are expected to walk during the practice round, and are able to bring their own caddy if they wish. Practice rounds are limited to players only, and each competitor will receive one practice round.
The USGA & Mass Golf request that players play no more than one golf ball during their practice round and arrive no more than 30 minutes prior to their scheduled practice round time. The fee for a practice round at Boston Golf Club is $25.
Golf Professional: Boomer Erick, PGA
Starting Times: Play will begin at 8:00am off the 1st tee. When available (Thursday, June 17th), Players can access starting times by clicking the "Starting Times" tab above.
Withdrawals: Please advise the Mass Golf office immediately by e-mailing ghowell@massgolf.org if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. If there is a need to call the Mass Golf office after the close of business on the day prior to the qualifier, please e-mail Greg Howell at ghowell@massgolf.org.
Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 3 Qualifying places and 2 alternates. Qualifying players will advance to the U.S. Women's Amateur at Westchester Country Club (Rye, NY).
Distance Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.
Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation will NOT be permitted. Pull/push carts will be permitted but are not ideal for the layout at Boston Golf Club.
Caddies: Caddies are permitted. Boston Golf Club has a limited number of club caddies, and those players wishing to secure the use of a club caddy should contact the golf shop PRIOR to the qualifier by e-mailing golfshop@bostongolfclub.org.
Golf Ball: The One-Ball Rule will be in effect. See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.
Competition Tees/ Yardage: Players can expect a yardage similar to the Middle/Forward Hybrid course (5,800 yards, par 71) for the day of the qualifier. If there are major changes prior to the qualifier, a more detailed yardage chart will be posted on Thursday, June 24th. Please note, these yardages are subject to change for the day of the qualifier.
Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: The practice facilities (warm-up range only) will be open and available at 7:00 am. Access to facilities may be limited due to COVID-19 policies set by the state of Massachusetts, Mass Golf, the USGA, or the host facility. Please follow & observe any signage or instructions received in regards to COVID policies.
Food & Beverage: Lunch will be availble in the clubhouse restaurant beginning at 11:00am.
Dress Code: Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application.
*Please also review the 2021 USGA Hard Card and other policies located under the tab labled "USGA Policies" prior to competion.
*There will be no regsitration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to recieve local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
