2021 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying

 

 

 

Registration Opens week of June 22

 

Host Facility: The Club at Inverness 

 

Qualifier Date: Tuesday, October 5, 2021

 

Format: 18 holes of four-ball stroke play

 

Registration Deadline: 5:00pm EDT August 11, 2021. Players must register through the USGA, linked above.

 

Entry Fee: $150.00 per player

 

Handicap Index Limit: 5.4

 

Field Size: 56 sides maximum

 

Qualifying Positions: 3

 

Alternate Positions: 2

 

Starting Times: 9:00am - 11:10am off #1 & #10

 

Walking Only Event: The U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship and it's qualifiers is a walking only event. Players may carry their bag, use a push cart, or bring a caddie.

 

Caddies: Allowed. Walking only. 

 

Practice Round Information: Tee times are subject to availability and can be booked 4 days in advanced by calling the golf shop at 303-397-7878. Saturday and Sunday after 12:30pm ONLY. Price: $105.

Food & Beverage: Breckenridge brewary will be available at 11:00am.

Local Rules in Effect

Distance Measuring Devices: During the qualifying rounds distance measuring devices are allowed, must measure distance only.

 

One Ball Rule: Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-4.

 

Clubs: Grooves - Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect, except that the exception in the model local rule does not apply. Model Local Rule G-2.

 

Prohibiting Use of Audio and Video Devices: During a round, a player must not listen to or watch content of any nature on a personal audio or video device. Local Rule G-8 is in effect.

 

Replacement of Broken or Significantly Damaged Club: Local Rule as prescribed in the Clarifications to the 2019 Rules of Golf is in effect. Model Local Rule G-9. 

 

Ball Played from Outside Relief Area When Taking Back-On-the-Line Relief: Local Rule as prescribed in the Clarifications to the 2019 Rules of Golf is in effect. Model Local Rule E-12. 

Limiting When Stroke Made From Putting Green Must Be Replayed Under Exception 2 to Rule 11.1b: Local Rule as prescribed in the Clarifications to the 2019 Rules of Golf is in effect. Model Local Rule D-7.
