Note: Masks are required in and around the clubhouse area at Meadow Club, or any circumstance where it is not possible to maintain social distancing.

 

Format:               

One 18-hole stipulated round of individual stroke play.  Contestants will play from the USGA Tee Markers wherever they are situated (see Yardage sheet). The low individual scores will advance to the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship at Berkeley Hall club (North Course) in Bluffton, South Carolina on September 25-30, 2021. Any play-offs will take place immediately after the conclusion of play for the last spot and two alternate positions.

 

Competition Schedule:

Starting times will start at 10:00 AM off Hole #1. Please be at your assigned starting time as soon as the previous group clears the tee.

Hard copies of all paperwork will be available to players at the 1st tee.

Practice Round Information:     

Below are the dates and times set aside for practice rounds. Please call Meadow Club at the number under Club Information to reserve your time. Practice rounds are $125 with an optional $20 cart fee. Only qualifier participants are allowed to play. A caddie may accompany the player for the practice round.

 

August 26th- 2:30, 2:40, 2:50

August 31st- 2:30, 2:40, 2:50

 

Spectator and Caddie Information: 

Each player is allowed one guest that can be either a spectator or caddie.

 

Cart Information:           

Automotive transportation is prohibited. Players and caddies must walk.

Pull-carts are permitted. Pull carts are available at Meadow Club.  SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED.

 

Practice Balls:   

The range will open at 9:00 AM. Players will not be allowed on the range more than 40 minutes before their scheduled tee time and 20 minutes before on the putting green to best allow proper warm-up times for all contestants.

 

Payment Information:  

Major Credit Cards are accepted for purchases in the golf shop. The restaurant is cash only.

 

Food and Beverage Information:

The restaurant will be open at 9:00 AM.

 

Withdrawals:   

Notify the NCGA at 831-625-4653 to withdraw. Players that fail to notify the NCGA prior to their starting time will be listed as No Shows.

 

Refunds:             

Players who withdraw after close of entries, but prior to the qualifier, will not be issued a refund unless the reason for withdrawing is medically related. Players can withdraw by logging into their account and clicking on the WITHDRAW tab. If a player is forced to withdraw due to newly instituted travel restrictions mandated by state/local government or the Allied Golf Association or any other golf associations (i.e. travel restrictions that were not in place prior to close of entries) and the player is unwilling or unable to transfer sites, a refund (less the service charge) will be issued. No refund for any reason after May 24, 2021. Service charge is $35.

 

ADDITIONAL RULES INFORMATION

 

Rules Information:                                       

The Rules of Golf effective January 2019 are in effect and are supplemented by the 2021 USGA Hard Card. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the qualifying site. It is the player’s responsibility to know the conditions of the competition.

 

Staff contact information is available in the Notice to Players if you have any questions after your round. 

 

Distance Measuring Devices:

The use of a conforming distance measuring device, as prescribed in Rule 4.3, is permitted.

 

Golf Balls and Driver Heads:                                                                   

Only brands of golf balls on the most current List of Conforming Golf Balls and driver heads on the most current List of

Conforming Driver Heads may be used. Updated lists may be found on the USGA website at www.usga.org or by

contacting the USGA Equipment Standards Department at (908) 234-2300. See Model Local Rules G-1 and G-3.

 

Automotive Transportation:                                      

The Local Rule prohibiting the use of motorized transportation as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures

Is in effect.

 

Prohibition on Certain Types of Shoes:                 

The Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-7.

 

Limitation of Golf Balls:

The one ball Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. See Model Local Rule G-4.

   

Grooves Condition:

The Local Rule as prescribed by Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect, except that the Exception in the Model Local Rule does not apply.  You may check to see if your grooves are conforming by using the Informational Club Database - http://www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/intro.html
