Format:        

18 holes of stroke play. Teams will be competing for 2 spots to go forward and play at the 7th U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship to be held May 14 – 18, 2022 at the Country Club of Birmingham, Birmingham, AL. Play will be from the WHITE USGA tee markers (refer to Yardage Sheet). There will be a play-off to determine qualifiers for the last spot and position of alternates following the conclusion of play. 

 

Competition Schedule:  

Play will begin at 9:00 AM off Tee #1 and Tee # 10. Please check the NCGA website for starting times. Please be at the tee immediately following the previous group.

Practice Round Information:    

Players will contact Pro Shop for availability and identify themselves as a US Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying participant.  Practice rounds are available on a space available basis before Sunday and after 11:00 AM Sunday.  Green Fees $100 Cart Fees $20

 

Caddie/Cart Information:

This is a walking only event. Players and their caddies must walk during the stipulated round. You may bring your own caddie or carry your own bag, push carts are permitted. Del Paso CC does not have caddies available.

 

Golf Shop and Clubhouse:         

The Golf Shop and Clubhouse will open at 7:00 AM.

 

Practice Facilities:

The driving range will open at 7:00 AM and balls will be available at no cost prior to the round.

 

Food and Beverage Information:        

The Snack Bar will be open from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 

Water:

Bottled water will be available on the 1st and 10th Tees

 

Spectators:

Spectators are permitted and must follow all club guest policies.

 

RULES INFORMATION – It is the player’s responsibility to know the Rules and Terms of the Competition.

 

Rules of Play:  The Rules of Golf effective January 2019 are in effect and are supplemented by the 2021 USGA Hard Card.  The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the championship site.  Please be familiar with the NCGA Regulations and Policies, and Pace of Play Policy.

 

Scoring: Players must download the USGA TM app (or GolfGenius). The GGID for the group will be emailed with the pairings, texted to the players the day prior, and available with the starter. At least one player in the group will be assigned to keep score for all players in the pairing. A scorecard will be provided by the starter and will be the official scorecard. The mobile scoring is unofficial.
