first-time event in Alaska!

The state of Alaska is finally getting a USGA championship! Anchorage Golf Course has been chosen to host the 60th U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship July 30 through August 4, 2022. It will mark the first time the USGA has taken one of its championships to the 49th state. Upon completion, the USGA will have hosted a championship in all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia. We look forward to having you with us as we welcome 132 players from around the world to Anchorage next summer for this historic occasion.

We want to provide a warm welcome to the Last Frontier State for all our visitors! Events of this size require much assistance, and we anticipate needing approximately 250 volunteers to help in various capacities throughout the event. The Volunteer Package ($95.00) will include: a volunteer uniform (championship-logoed shirt, jacket and hat), round of golf at Anchorage Golf Course during a scheduled Volunteer Day, breakfast or lunch while fulfilling your onsite assignment and access to the championship to spectate at any time.
