CHAMPIONSHIP FEE Exempt players will be charged $325. Player’s advancing to the Championship through qualifying will be responsible for a $175.00 Championship fee. This fee will be charged to the player upon being transferred to the Championship proper in the online registration system after your qualifying round has concluded. Exempt players have no additional championship fees aside from the practice round. |

ELIGIBILITY Open to male amateur golfers age 25 or older as of May 20, 2022. |
|
FORMAT 54 holes of individual stroke play. After 36 holes of play, the field will be cut to the low 60 scores and ties. |

PRACTICE ROUND One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Coosa Country Club to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation. Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. Credit cards ONLY will be accepted.

A combination of tee markers and yardages will be utilized for the championship. A practice yardage sheet will be available after the close of entries on the event portal page. Practice yardage sheets will also be available at the club. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. |

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE The golf shop and driving range will open at 6:30 a.m. each day of competition.
Club PT will be on-site throughout the Championship to provide services to players.

STARTING TIMES Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on May 13th. |
|
REGISTRATION Registration will be held on site on Thursday, May 19th from 10:00am - 4:00 pm. Players should arrive to their assigned starting tee ten minutes before their starting time to allow for the starter to go over instructions and rules of play. Player withdraws must be called or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted. |

CARTS Practice carts and range fees are $30 plus tax. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee. Credit cards ONLY will be accepted. |

FOOD SERVICE The clubhouse will open daily at 6:30 a.m. ONLY CREDIT CARDS will be accepted for food and beverage purchases and will be available in the clubhouse during the week. There will be limited breakfast items.
Please make note to join us Saturday afternoon from 12:00 - 6:00 pm for a special Reformation Brewery experience. Reformation Brewery will be providing all players the opportunity to try two of their highly regarded beers. Snack and appetizers will also be provided courtesy of GSGA. Come enjoy the afternoon and a refreshing beverage! |

PRIZES Gift certificates will be awarded to the low 20 finishers. |
|
REFUND POLICY A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling the GSGA Rules and Competitions Department at (770) 955-4272 or (800) 949-4742 or via email. |
