Friday, June 3rd

  • Registration: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
    • Georgia Golf Hall of Fame inside Murray Golf House at Bobby Jones Golf Course - parking located in the parking deck adjacent to the Dan Yates Putting Course
    • Ross Brakeville, PT, DPT, STC (certified EDGA Medical Classifier) available for assessment
    • Waffle House Catering available
  • Practice Round: Shotgun Start at 12:00 p.m.
  • Welcome Reception: Following Practice Round (approx. 6:30 p.m.) - Georgia Golf Hall of Fame

  • Tee Times: 8:30 a.m. - 9:58 a.m. - Magnolia Course

 

Sunday, June 5th

  • Player Hospitality Room: 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. - Georgia Golf Hall of Fame
  • Tee Times: 8:30 a.m. - 9:58 a.m. - Azalea Course
  • Trophy Presentation: Following Round 2 (approx. 3:00 p.m.)

 

Welcome Reception: The Player's Welcome Reception will be held in the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame following the practice round.

 

Player Hospitality: The Player Hospitality Room will be located in the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame at Bobby Jones Golf Course and will be open each morning of the competition (Saturday & Sunday) from 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Continental breakfast items will be available along with fruit and drinks.

 

Player Meals: Lunch will be available each afternoon of the competition (Saturday & Sunday) beginning at Noon. Lunch will be located behind #9 green near the scoring area.

 

Trophy Presentation: A brief trophy presentation will be held near the scoring area following the conclusion of play. Trophies will be awarded to the overall champion, seated champion, and women’s champion. Gift cards courtesy of PGA TOUR Superstore will be awarded to top finishers across all divisions.

 

Championship Fee: $175 (Cards will not be charged until confirmation of entry into the field)

 

Entries Open: Monday, March 21 (Noon, EDT)

 

Entries Close: Monday, April 25 (Noon, EDT)

 

Format: 36 holes of stroke play

 

Eligibility: Open to players from all Sport Classes as defined by the USAGA Player Classification System with an active World Handicap System Index and a WR4GD Pass.

  • All exempt players to register will receive immediate entry into the field. All other entries will be placed on a pending list until the entry deadline. Current USAGR position at close of entries will be used to determine the remainder of the field. Upon the close of entries, players on the pending list who do not make the field will be moved to a wait list.

Divisions/Flights: The championship will consist of divisions as modeled by the USAGA Player Classification System. More info on the USAGA Player Classification System can be found here: https://www.usaga.org/usagr

 

Practice Round: The designated practice round date is Friday, June 3rd. Practice round cart and range fee is included in the Championship Fee for this date.

 

Yardages & Tees: Yardages and tees will be released following the close of entries and will be based on USAGA Guidelines.

 

Golf Shop & Driving Range: The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:30 a.m. each day of the championship.

 

Starting Times: Starting times for the practice round and championship will be assigned by the GSGA and communicated to all players via email and text. You may also visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times approximately one week prior to the championship

 

Registration: Formal registration will be held at Bobby Jones Golf Course on Friday, June 3rd. Additional details will be communicated with the field after the close of entries.

 

Caddies & Player Aides: Players are responsible for planning for a caddie and/or player aide should they choose to use one. A limited number of caddies and/or player aides can be made available by the GSGA upon advanced request. Players may ride in a cart or walk.

 

Rules of Play: The 2019 Rules of Golf and the Modified Rules of Golf for Players with Disabilities will be utilized for the championship

 

Prizes: Gift certificates will be awarded to the top finishers overall and in each division. Gift certificate breakdown will be available the week of the championship.

Refund Policy: A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdraws must be made by calling the official in-charge, Colton Dean, at 678-324-5973 or via email at cdean@gsga.org

 

Host Site Information: Bobby Jones Golf Course boasts one of the few reversible golf courses in the United States. For the championship, both the Magnolia & Azalea routings will be utilized.
