Welcome to the 2022 MVGA Spring Better Ball hosted by NCR Country Club and presented by our friends at Midwest Security Services.
A few things of note prior to your arrival for Monday's 1pm shotgun start.
- Skins registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 am.
- Due to ongoing renovations to the Practice Areas only the putting greens will be available prior to your round.
- Scoring verification will be held where lunch was served with a Cash Bar, Appetizers and Awards folllowing play.
- There is an optional $20 per team, skins game. (Separate pots for all four divisions of play and only cash will be accepted for payment)
- *If a tie exist in any Divsion, we will play off for the 1st Place Teams. All other ties will be broken by the USGA Regression Method - For Detail

ELECTRONIC SCORING ON GOLF GENIUS APP
There will be two ways to return your official scorecard. Electronic, which is the preferred method, or the printed scorecard. Scorecards will be accepted for 45 minutes after the first Electronic Scorecard is returned. Upon which time all scorecards will be certified, and results announced. If you do not have the mobile scoring app, please download the Golf Genius App prior to your arrival.

LOCAL RULE FOR STROKE AND DISTANCE PENALTIES IN EFFECT
The Local Rules and Conditions of Competition have been updated to reflect the current revisions within the rules of golf and our competitions committee has also decided to adopt the Local Rule for a Ball that is Lost or Out of Bounds (E-5) for this event. This Local Rule does not prevent you from playing a provisional ball and in most cases it is still wise to do so. This local rule is not available to the first ball when you put a provisional ball into play.
If you have questions on this local rule, please ask staff prior to your round.
HANDICAPS
For play in the Net Divisions, handicaps will be used from the April 29th revision. See Handicap Analysis Information
SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY
11:30am - Registration and Lunch will Open.
1pm - Shotgun Start See Hole Assignments
After Play - Scoring, Awards, and Drinks (cash bar available) inside the clubhouse.
OPTIONAL SKINS GAME
$20 Optional Team Skins Game is available. Only cash will be accepted for skins contest. There are 4 separate skins pots based upon the division of play. For the Gross Divisions of play, Gross Skins will be awarded, and for Net Divisions of Play, Net Skins will be awarded.
PLAYOFF
If there is a tie at the conclusion of play, a sudden victory playoff will be used to deterimine the Division Champion. In the Net Divisions handicap strokes will be allocated as during the championship round.
PRACTICE FACILITIES
Due to construction work being performed on the practice facility it will not be available for this event. As an alternative, consider the facilities at Community Golf Course for those coming from the north or the Practice Facility at Clear Creek for those arriving from the south.
