ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Gender: The Championship is open to female amateur golfers.
  • Membership: Players must be a member of the MGA.
  • Age: There are no age restrictions for this event
  • USGA Handicap Index: Players must have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index.

 

FORMAT

This is a thirty-six (36) hole, two lady scramble competition. Round one: Teams will be paired according to the team handicap index. (Players Handicap Index will be used as of 7 days prior to the first day of the event) In Round 2 each team will be flighted and paired based on the first-round score. The two-day low gross score shall determine the Scramble team winners in each flight. Ties for a tournament winner will be decided by a sudden-death playoff, all other ties will be decided according to USGA Rules of Golf, Appendix 1, Part C, Section 10, Stoke Play (c), paragraph 1 (last nine holes shall be 10-18).

 

 

ENTRY INFORMATION

  • Entries: Player must register online prior to the established deadline (see below). Entries by mail will not be accepted.
  • Fee: This championship entry fee $340.
  • Deadline: Entries must be received prior to the deadline (Time on Date, Date Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason)
  • Refund Policy: A portion of the entry fee, will be based on the schedule below, will be refunded regardless of reason if the MGA is notified 573-636-8994 or via email: Prior to Deadline: Entry fee less $30. After the Deadline: No Refund. 

 

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Championship rounds, cart fee for championship rounds, and range balls. Players are responsible for cart fee for the practice round.
