ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Gender: The Championship is open to female amateur golfers.
- Membership: Players must be a member of the MGA.
- Age: 50+
- USGA Handicap Index: Players must have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index.
FLIGHTS
The players will compete in their respective age division
50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+
There will also be a two-day low NET score in each age division. The WHS handicap adjustment percentage of 95.0% is applied
This is a thirty-six (36) hole, stroke play competition. All contestants will compete for the title of MGA Women’s Senior Amateur Champion. Players that are 65+ will also compete for the title of MGA Women’s Super Senior Amateur Champion.
ENTRY INFORMATION
- Entries: Player must register online prior to the established deadline (see below). Entries by mail will not be accepted.
- Fee: This championship entry fee $200.
- Deadline: Entries must be received prior to the deadline (Time on Date, Date Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason)
- Refund Policy: A portion of the entry fee, will be based on the schedule below, will be refunded regardless of reason if the MGA is notified 573-636-8994 or via email: Prior to Deadline: Entry fee less $30. After the Deadline: No Refund.
ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Championship rounds, cart fee for championship rounds, and range balls. Players are responsible for cart fee for the practice round.
CADDIES
A competitor may bring her own caddie or carry her own clubs.
CHAMPIONSHIPS, FORMAT, & SCHEDULE
Monday, August 29
Practice round 10-3 PM: Players need to contact the Country Club for a tee time.
6PM Welcome Reception
Tuesday, August 30
First-round, 18 holes
9 AM Shotgun start
5:30 Cocktails 6:30 Formal Dinner (time subject to change)
Wednesday, August 31
Second-round, 18 holes
9 AM Shotgun start
Player Luncheon - Awards Banquet
PRIZES
Winner- Gift certificates will be given to top finishers in each division. There will be additional prizes awarded in the Net Divisions.
